The Zinky Blue Velvet is an all tube, 2 channel, in either 25 or 50 watt flavours, 1 x 12 guitar combo from the ex Fender Custom Shop amp designer Bruce Zinky. This amp combines the simplicity of Plug and Play controls with the complex tone and versatility that Zinky amps are known for.
Blue Velvet puts maximum versatility and sound in a small package, perfect for club gigs or jam night. Two fully independent channels with separate tone controls allow getting the “perfect” clean AND overdriven sounds, or you can get two clean sounds, or crank the clean channel for overdriven sounds, or... the sky’s the limit!
The Overdrive channel is universally praised for ultra smooth, natural overdrive with almost endless sustain possibilities. A lush reverb, effects loop and two button footswitch (Channel switching and Reverb) round out the package. Great for the lead player in rock or country bands, for clubs seating 200 people or so when true output tube overdrive is desired.
The Blue Velvet is one of those rare amps that combines the positive aspects of vintage and modern tones that will excel for most styles of rock. Made in the USA.
