The Supro Model 50 first made its debut almost 70 years ago. The original featured a single volume control and produced about 6 Watts of power through one power tube and a 10” speaker.
True to their vintage roots, the new Model 50 has a vintage style USA-made Alnico magnet speaker with Kraft paper voice coil, vintage paper cone and over 13 Watts of all-tube, single-ended “class A” power. The sound of this amplifier is clean until the highest volume settings, where it will gradually give in to classic tube distortion.
Simple, yet effective Volume & Tone controls, plus Standby and Power switches. The Supro Model 50 is a great amp for recording, practice or small gigs.
