GAPco is an independent specialist retailer of products for guitar and bass players, pedal and amp builders, hobbyists and guitar techs. We stock and sell a vast range of guitar amps, pedals, pedal boards, spares and accessories along with other related equipment. This section will give you more details about our company, our background, and why our business has grown over recent years.

Who are GAPco?

GAPco is owned and run by Andy Brunt

and his technical and administrative associate, Barry Pyatt.

Andy started playing guitar in his early teens, and he has played in various bands and projects in the UK and abroad since then.

He has performed regularly across the country including headline shows at the Marquee Club in Wardour Street, and made various radio and TV appearances, including a BBC Radio 1 session. He moved to the USA in 1992 where he continued to be involved in various musical projects. Now back in the UK, Andy continues to gig regularly, performing & recording many “own-write” songs.

Barry first played semi-professionally back in 1964 (!!) and has been lead guitarist and lead vocalist with many bands and “names” across Europe, ever since.

Additionally, he has done several shows as a tenor sax player, bass guitar player, and, lately, has been occasionally seen at folk fairs pumping a melodeon, playing banjo, or blowing a Boehm flute (yes, really !!)

During the late 90s and early 00s, he emigrated to Spain, and was to be found starring along the Costa Blanca. Now back in the UK, Barry is still very much a part of the “Old Musos Network” from the 60s &70s, and regularly gets called upon for the odd session or technical know-how.
